About our products & orders
Are your pickles really homemade?
Yes. Every jar is cooked in small batches in Kavita's own kitchen in Sarvebhavi Palya, Bengaluru — the same recipes she makes for her family.
Do you use any preservatives or artificial colours?
Never. We use only natural ingredients — fresh produce, cold-pressed oil, salt and hand-blended spices. Colour and shelf life come from traditional technique, not chemicals.
How long do the pickles keep?
Kept in a dry, airtight jar and always handled with a clean, dry spoon, our pickles stay good for 8–12 months. Refrigeration is not required but keeps the flavour brighter in summer.
What pack sizes can I order?
Most products come in 100g, 250g, 500g, 1kg and 5kg packs. Bulk 5kg packs are popular for weddings, hostels and gifting — message us for a custom quote.
How do I place an order?
Add the pack sizes you want to the cart and check out. You can either send the order to us on WhatsApp or submit the checkout form — Kavita confirms availability, delivery and payment with you personally.
How is payment collected?
There is no online payment. Once your order is confirmed on WhatsApp, you can pay by UPI or cash on delivery.
Do you deliver outside Bengaluru?
Yes. Local Bengaluru orders are usually delivered in 1–2 days, and we courier across India — shipping is quoted on WhatsApp based on weight and pincode.
Can I order a spice level or recipe tweak?
Often, yes. Because everything is made to order in small batches, we can adjust chilli or oil for larger orders. Just ask on WhatsApp before you order.
Product specific
Masala Tea Powder
How much powder should I use per cup?
One to two teaspoons for a cup of water or milk, along with your usual tea leaves. Simmer 3–5 minutes, strain and serve hot.
Is the blend very strong?
It is aromatic rather than harsh — cardamom and fennel lead, with ginger, clove, cinnamon, pepper and star anise behind them. Use less powder for a milder cup.
Can I use it without tea leaves?
Yes. Simmered in milk with a little jaggery it makes a caffeine-free masala milk.

Our pickles
How should I store this pickle?
Keep the jar closed in a cool, dry place and always use a clean, dry spoon. Stored that way it stays good for 8–12 months.
How spicy is it?
We balance the spice for everyday eating with rice, roti or curd rice. For a milder or hotter batch on larger orders, tell us on WhatsApp.
Which pack size should I start with?
100g or 250g is ideal for a first taste. Regular customers usually reorder 500g or 1kg, and 5kg packs are made for gifting and bulk needs.
